Website Privacy Policy
This Website Privacy Policy describes the information collected through the public-facing website of MAC Practice Solutions LLC ("MAC Practice Solutions," "we," "us" or "our"), the purposes for which such information is used and disclosed, and the choices available to visitors concerning its collection and use. This policy applies to macpracticesolutions.com and its www subdomain (the "Website").
The Website provides information about our services and a means of submitting business inquiries. It is not intended for the submission of patient information, medical records or other sensitive personal information. This policy concerns information handled through the public Website and does not describe the handling of client or patient records under separate service arrangements.
Information we collect
In connection with your use of the Website, you may voluntarily provide your name, business email address, telephone number, professional role, practice name, practice website, the services you are interested in and the contents of an inquiry. Name and email address are required to submit the contact form; other fields are optional. If you provide business contact information concerning another individual, you represent that you have that individual's permission to share the information with us for the purpose of the inquiry. Please limit information about others to what is relevant to your request.
We and our service providers also process information about visits to the Website, including page activity, browser and device information, network information and identifiers associated with cookies or similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored by a browser; tracking tags and related technologies permit measurement of visits, website performance and successful inquiries. Hosting and security services separately process technical information required to deliver and protect the Website.
HubSpot, Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, Meta advertising measurement and the LinkedIn Insight Tag are enabled by default unless you disable tracking or use Global Privacy Control. No preference panel opens automatically. Select Your Privacy Choices in the footer, then Disable tracking to stop all five website analytics and advertising measurement services, or Enable all tracking to turn them back on. An enable choice is remembered for up to 180 days. A disable choice remains in this browser until you change it or clear the saved browser data. The form does not require tracking to work.
We honor Global Privacy Control by keeping optional tracking off when that signal is enabled in your browser. We do not separately interpret the older Do Not Track signal; you can use our privacy controls at any time. Disabling tracking also stops Cloudflare Web Analytics, but does not disable HubSpot’s hosting, security or operational request logs. Changing browser or device, clearing browser storage, or using private browsing can affect whether your preference is remembered.
Disabling optional tracking stops subsequent optional collection and removes the accessible tracking cookies our controls recognize. It does not erase information previously received by providers. Use the contact information below for requests about previously collected information.
How we use information you provide
We use information provided through the Website to respond to inquiries, discuss requested services, administer business relationships and maintain appropriate business records. Providing contact information permits us to follow up regarding your inquiry and related service discussions. A contact-form submission does not enroll you in newsletters or promotional email campaigns.
Website analytics, Meta measurement and the LinkedIn Insight Tag are used to understand visits, successful inquiries, website performance and the effectiveness of our outreach and advertising. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to create website retargeting audiences on LinkedIn, so LinkedIn members who visited the Website may later see MAC Practice Solutions ads on LinkedIn. We may also use Meta Pixel data to create website retargeting audiences on Facebook and Instagram, so people who visited the Website may later see MAC Practice Solutions ads there. You can prevent this by disabling tracking, using Global Privacy Control, or adjusting the advertising settings in your LinkedIn and Meta accounts. We do not upload customer or inquiry lists to LinkedIn, Meta or Google for advertising audiences. The Website does not currently provide newsletter signup, online payments, appointment scheduling, live chat, file uploads or a client portal. We do not record or transcribe inquiry calls or send marketing text messages. New features or advertising uses will be addressed through updates to this policy and any applicable notices or choices before those uses begin.
How we share information
We do not sell contact lists or inquiry information for money. We disclose information to outside providers that support the operation of the Website, our customer relationship management system and website measurement. Accordingly, information is not maintained exclusively within MAC Practice Solutions. The providers identified below process information under their applicable agreements and privacy policies.
- HubSpot: hosts and delivers the Website, and stores business inquiries and contact information in our customer relationship management system. Its hosting may set strictly necessary security cookies, which are not affected by your tracking choices. Unless you disable tracking or use Global Privacy Control, its website cookies can measure activity and help associate visits with your contact record after an inquiry. HubSpot Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare: provides the DNS service for our domain and provides Web Analytics. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as aggregate, privacy-first measurement that does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. DNS functions may process technical data separately. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics: unless you disable tracking or use Global Privacy Control, measures website visits and successful inquiries using browser identifiers and activity information. Our explicit inquiry events do not contain your name, email, phone number or message. Google advertising signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in our website integration. Google Privacy Policy.
- Meta/Facebook Pixel: unless you disable tracking or use Global Privacy Control, sends page-view and successful-inquiry events to Meta for advertising measurement and to build website retargeting audiences on Facebook and Instagram. Meta receives page URLs, browser/network information and identifiers and may process information under its own terms and privacy policy. Our explicit events do not include contact-form contents, and automatic advanced matching is disabled. This disclosure of website activity is separate from selling contact lists and may be treated as advertising data sharing under applicable law. Meta Privacy Policy.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag: unless you disable tracking or use Global Privacy Control, sends page-view and successful-inquiry events to LinkedIn for advertising measurement and to build website retargeting audiences of LinkedIn members. LinkedIn receives page URLs, referrer, browser/network information (including IP address) and cookie identifiers, and may associate visits with a LinkedIn member account. Our explicit events do not include contact-form contents, and LinkedIn Enhanced Matching is not enabled. LinkedIn provides audience and demographic reporting to us only in aggregate. This disclosure of website activity may be treated as advertising data sharing under applicable law. LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process or a lawful governmental request; to investigate suspected fraud or unlawful activity; or to protect the rights, property or security of MAC Practice Solutions, Website users or others.
Information may also be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business or assets. Any such transfer will remain subject to applicable privacy obligations, and we will provide notice or choices where required by law.
Data security
Protecting the information entrusted to us is a core part of how MAC Practice Solutions conducts business. We maintain layered safeguards designed to protect business contact and inquiry information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. These safeguards include secure account access, restrictions that limit information access to authorized individuals with a business need, and protections for the devices used to conduct our work.
Our approach combines technology with careful access management and responsible information handling. Access is removed when it is no longer needed, and business devices are maintained with security protections and regular updates. Although no website or information system can guarantee absolute security, we take deliberate steps to protect the information we handle. Please do not submit patient information, medical records, passwords or other sensitive personal information through the contact form or in an initial privacy inquiry.
Links to external websites
The Website contains links to third-party websites, including Facebook, LinkedIn and the service-provider policies identified above. This policy does not govern those external websites. Their operators determine their own information practices, and you should review the applicable policies when visiting them.
Data retention
We retain business contact and inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, support business relationships, maintain appropriate records and address legal obligations or disputes. Each December, we review these records and consider removing stale or inactive entries. The annual review does not establish an automatic deletion deadline; records may be retained where an ongoing business or legal need exists. Analytics providers maintain separate retention settings, and the annual contact review does not automatically remove information held in their analytics systems.
Privacy requests
You may contact us to ask about our information practices or request access to, correction of or deletion of information concerning you. Additional rights may be available under applicable law. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where permitted or required by law. Disabling website tracking does not itself delete information previously received by us or our providers. Please direct requests to the email address below and avoid including patient information or sensitive documents in your initial message.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy to reflect changes in our information practices, Website functionality or applicable requirements. The revision date below identifies the most recent update. Material changes will be communicated, and additional choices provided, as required by applicable law. We encourage visitors to review this policy periodically.
